Come join a zoom meeting of our members and members of West Shore, and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland. We get together and talk about social justice efforts that we are working on in our indivudual congregations and finding ways to collaborate with each other. Send an email to Don Bryant or Val Hura, our coordinators, for more information or to request a zoom link.
This month’s presentation:
What’s going on in the Middle East? Hear from two UU members about their travels through Israel to occupied Palestine .

Don Bryant (SWUU) and Mark Weber (UUCC) travelled to occupied Palestine through the Israeli border independently in 2025 and 2022, respectively, They will present to our UUs Together about their connection to the region {they are U.S.taxpayers – for one), what Palestinian life looks like under occupation, why it matters to UUism, how the U.S. is tied to the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and solutions for a just peace in the the region.

Here’s Mark and Don at UUs Together, November 2023, when the current wave of violence between Israel and Hamas began, a conflict that goes back to 1948, before Hamas.
