This event usually takes place on the Fourth Friday of each month. The goal is to give anyone who identifies as female a chance to get to know one another in a casual non-structured way. Hosts can choose to host in their home, at the church, or even at a restaurant.

This month, Ellen Hansen-Ellis is hosting a Thanksgiving Leftovers Pot Luck in her home in Berea. Here is what she has to say about it:

The fourth Friday this month is the day after Thanksgiving. I thought this might be a great time to give thanks together by sharing some delicious leftovers from the previous day’s holiday meal. So, I am hosting a Leftovers Potluck at my home in Berea, and I hope many will decide to end this “Black Friday” on a less commercialized note and gather to eat and socialize.

Please plan to arrive at 6:00PM, with dinner at about 6:30. Let me know if you plan to come. I can accommodate a maximum of 20 people (in 3 rooms).

If you know what you want to bring please let me know, but since the amount of leftovers of any meal item tends to be unpredictable, don’t feel compelled to promise anything. True potlucks are an adventure!

Look for the sign-up sheet in the lobby to see who is hosting or to volunteer!
