Breaking News – Fall Fest is Moving Indoors

As you may be aware, the weather forecast for this Saturday is not desirable for an outdoor activity. So, we’re moving our Fall Fest event indoors to our church. We’ll still have most of the planned activities…except of course the campfire!

When: Saturday, Oct 21st, 1-4 PM (Raffle drawings at 3 PM)
Where: Southwest Unitarian Universalist Church (SWUU)
What to Expect: Fun – Family and Kids Activities – Socializing

Fall Fest will include socializing, pumpkin decoration, warm apple cider and hot chocolate, Halloween costume contest, craft activities, potluck snacks, raffle, and music. Here’s more detail:
Great News – It’s Free! No charge to attend. Except for the raffle, there is no charge for any activities, including the potluck snacks.
Voluntary Donations: We will provide a donation box if you wish to support our church with a voluntary donation. You will not need cash. We will have donation forms, and we will bill you.
Raffle Tickets: You won’t need cash if you want to buy raffle tickets. We will bill you for the tickets you sign up for. Tickets will be $1 each.
How can you help? To make this a successful event? Here’s some things you might like to do:
• Potluck Snacks. The hospitality committee will be providing warm cider and hot chocolate. If you wish, bring some of your favorite snacks to share.
• Halloween Costumes. Wear a fun costume. If you wish, participate in our costume contest. Many categories will be awarded fun prizes.
• Raffle. Bring an item or small group of items for our raffle. We would like to see items for kids, adults, and families. Sarajane Willson will be coordinating the raffle. Please contact Sarajane Willson to ensure we don’t have duplicates: sassysjw@gmail.com or 440-503-6363 to coordinate. (Don’t think full fledged gift baskets, which we often raffle off at the service auction.)
• Just Show Up. Bring family and friends. Everyone is Welcome!
