Each circle will customize the basic covenant to meet the needs of the individual group. A typical session begins with the lighting of a chalice with a reading followed by a brief check in. After the check in is a moment of silence. The session includes readings on the theme and questions to consider and spur thought. Each person speaks once or passes before others speak. The session ends with a check out and chalice extinguishing. Once the chalice is extinguished, we can conduct any business as necessary. Each circle lasts about an hour. If you are challenged to stretch your spirituality or you wish to become a better listener, consider joining a Covenant Circle this year. I am going to bet that you will mark that date with a gold star on your calendar.

If you are considering being a part of a covenant circle this year, plan to commit to an hour a month, October thru May. The times currently are the second Monday at 3 pm and the third Tuesday at 7 pm. We will continue to have the groups on Zoom. This allows those with travel restrictions to join us.
