Brian Woodside will give a brief overview of the different types of memory systems, the ways these systems function in the brain, and how memories define who we are and how we interact with the world. Included will be several demonstrations to illustrate how your memory works, or sometimes doesn’t, and a few mnemonic devices and suggestion to improve your retention and recall.
