The Wed. book group is starting a new book today. The book is “We Are
Called to be a Movement” by Rev. Dr. William J Barber II. It is
essentially a sermon by a co-chairman of the Poor People’s Campaign
where he calls for people “to join forces to redeem the soul of
America.” If you have considered trying our book group, this would be a
good time to start. We meet from 1 until 3 on zoom every Wed. We
socialize for the first half hour and then read and discuss the book in
the remaining time. We will be finishing this book in the next 2-3 weeks so
stay tuned at that time to see what we are reading.
