At times a congregation must deal with conflicts, small and large, and wrestle with hard decisions about how to keep the congregation safe from dangerous or damaging behavior. This year the Board is embarking on the work of visiting and re-visiting the policies and procedures for SouthWest to handle these challenges. You are invited to come share your feelings about how the congregation has handled these challenges in the past–what worked and what didn’t–and offer your suggestions for what you would like to see in the policies and procedures for dealing with conflict and damaging and/or dangerous behavior. Interim Minister Evin Carvill-Ziemer will be facilitating.
