Join me on a recap of the best cruise I have ever taken! This was a cruise run by the National Geographic Society, in coordination with Lindblad Expeditions. We cruised in the eastern Galapagos archipelago, crossing the equator twice, visiting eight unique islands, and snorkeled, swam with sea lions, hiked on primitive trails on these volcanic islands, getting close views of native species and vast nesting grounds of waved albatrosses, frigate birds, Nazca, red-footed, and the infamous blue-footed boobies. Also saw many giant tortoises, which had become almost extinct, and also marine iguanas, and lava lizards, and more!!

The photos will be some of mine and my daughter’s, and a half-hour video of our entire trip taken by the onsite National Geographic photographers, including underwater and land photos.
