On Tuesday May 26, SWUU will have the first “Bring Your Own Craft Night”. You may have a craft in your closet collecting dust or you may want to chat with friends while doing a craft you enjoy. On the 4th Tuesday of every month you will have a chance to bring a craft to church and work on it. We will meet downstairs, so if you have something big you can spread out on one of the tables. This time will not be for teaching. It’s an opportunity to work on your own crafts and talk to old friends and maybe make new friends. If you have kids that can work on something by themselves, or with you, they are welcome to join the group. If you do bring your kids, I would like them to be in the big room with us, because we will not be providing child care.

Some crafts to consider:
• Knitting
• Crocheting
• Needlework
• Fleece blankets or scarves
• Beadwork or jewelry making
• Drawing
• Zentangles
• Silk flower arranging

As long as it’s safe and you will clean your work area at the end of the evening, you’re welcome to bring it. (Obviously, glass blowing, creating fireworks, swordsmithing, blacksmithing, making moonshine, welding, using blow torches or power tools may not be that appropriate. Hahaha.)
