Adopt-a-Highway is Back!!  SWUU participates in the Adopt-A-Highway Program through ODOT and makes a difference in our community. In exchange, we receive free advertising with signage.

Our committment is to pick up ‘safe’ trash from the interchange of I271 and Pearl Road four times per year.  Generally, it has been done twice in the spring and twice and the fall.

The first activity is a safety training for all volunteers at the church on August 27 at 6:00 pm.  A representative from the Ohio Department of Transportation will be present to lead the training session.  Your participation in this training is not required but it is recommended.  If you cannot attend the training, the pertinent safety details will be discussed at the Saturday clean-ups.  Please RSVP to  me via email at savourliphe@aol.com.
